The Orcan man and bugs didn't win either....probably cause they had to leave and were'nt there for the voting... cause I love this it is so cute and clever...But Jesse did.... Every year we have a cousin Halloween party, we all dress up, we eat soup and play games, and vote on the costumes usually having different catergories... there is always "Best in Show" in which the winner receives this awesome Halloween trophy that they keep all year and then bring it to the next years party.... Jesse took the cake this year... he was Jesse James.... for those of you who don't know his real full name is Jesse James... ha ha ha so he got the sweet trophy.
My sister Brooke hand painted this once was bowling trophy to make it a sweet witch and pumpkin...

Donut eating contest... they were out of the regular glazed donuts at the store so I bought what they had, I was dissapointed we ended up not using the jelly filled ones.

This was a lot harder than I thought it would be, once I FINALLY got a bite of it, it took me forever to chew it... I had no chance at winning.

Hailey and my cousin Kyle won the donut contest. we went in two groups, Hailey did awesome and beat all the guys in her group.

All the kids, I think there are what 13? little kiddies (plus some who were'nt even there) lots of em runnen around in their cute costumes.

Ward Harvest Party

We had our Ward Harvest Party the other night.... lots of fun, the kids had a blast running around with their friends and trunk or treating...

Our friends Tom and Annie, she was supposed to be an Indian girl but it kinda turnded into a hippie, and Tom as the joker from the Dark Knight... creepy.

I'm not sure who these guys are... just a couple of rockers that showed up and crashed the ward party.... ha ha ha

Say "pumpkin"!!

We went to Farnsworth Farms Great Pumpkin Festival the other night with my good friend Andrea and her kids to see the Charlie Brown movie 'THe GrEaT PumPkIn'. We wondered around and took pictures of the kids by the pumpkins until the movie started then we sat and ate donuts while watching the movie outside, it was really very fun, I love doing such festive things this time of year. If you get a chance you should go cause it's a fun, free, fall activity... they are doing it again the 24th and 25th, they have free hay rides too and the pumpkins in the patch are only 19 cents a pound which I think is pretty good?? I really don't know... but it was a very fun, fall activity that was free... besides the cost of the donuts, GooD TiMeS!!

this ride at Knotts Berry Farm was hilarious... Kara's kids could'nt decide if they should laugh or cry.... it was one of the funniest things ever.

Can't walk away from Disneyland without a picture with Mickey...well we could and almost did cause we didn't want to spend and hour in line... but luckily he was hiding in the corner right off main street and we saw him and stood in line for 5 minutes and snapped a quick picture...
...same with Donald, the kids love to see the charecters especially Max he was so cute around them it was so fun to see their excitment.
The Golden Horseshoe, I love this show it is hilarious... this is Jess and his cute girlfriend Hailey and the rest of the fam behind them... the twenty of us took up a lot of space... it was fun.

California Adventure

So we went to the Beach & Wild Animal Park, Disneyland, Knott Berry Farm, Beach, Disneyland, & Sea World....(in that order) we really had such a good time, the kids did great and had a blast, it is a little tricky going with twenty people including 8 kids but we had a great system down and were able to do a lot, every one is so good to help each other out and be flexible towards each others needs, and were always ready to go on time... We stayed in an awesome, way nice house, near a pool and hot tub so we were able to enjoy that too, soooo yeah lots of fun, I'm going add a slide show and more pictures later these are only my picts my siblings took some fun ones to so I'll post those later.... We have done this same trip lots of times and I have to say it is one of my most favorite things ever to go to these fun places with such fun people that I love... Thanks to my dad for making this happen... he's the best dad ever

"FiReFiGHteR hOuSE!!"

Max had a field Trip to the Fire station today, along with about 5 other pre-schools, so there was a lot of kids and was a little crazy, but the fire fighters do a good job teaching the kids. They talk about safety tips, go over what to do if you find something that is dangerous like matches, they have a fire guy put on all his equipment so the kids can see what he looks like and teach them that they don't have to be afraid of them, cause they look a little intimidating with all that gear on, they do a little skit for your basic escape plan... Max was the battery for the skit... it was funny he just had to stand there but it was really cute! And they have a little puppet show to teach them the basic stop, drop, and roll thing. They go over a lot of things to help educate the kids.

So the concert was soooo good!! AVA opened, which for me was just allright.... I like the band, but wasn't overly impressed with their performance... but it was still enjoyable, Weezer on the other hand was GRAND!! They put on a serious good show, the lead singer is just hilarious, and the show was just pure entertainment.... may I suggest if you ever get the chance to see them, you should go... we had a great time.

We saw Sara & Devin there, they came to say hello at our awesome seats, and ended up sneaking onto the floor to see AVA cause they didn't love where their seats were.... they are big AVA fans, so it worked out well for them.

"Put your booties on cause it's COLD outside...."

We officially cranked up the heat this morning... we are not fans of the cold around here, I found my boys under the table sitting on the heater vent...Parker wanted to eat his breakfast here. I love Fall but do not love winter and DO NOT like the cold... I hate being cold.. brrrr.. I do love fall/winter attire, the sweaters, the jackets, the layers...love it, but the cold no thanks... any hoo thought this was funny, and I'm thinking the furnace is done hibernating. :(

I'm a big kid now!

Bron has now decided he is done sitting in his booster high chair thing... he now has to sit with his brothers at the table... he is sooo funny, he's growing out of his baby stage into a toddler.... where does the time go??
