Christmas Festivities started off at Brad's moms house, we opened presents from his mom & dad, the grandkids got their presents and we ate yummy food...
... we then headed home, opened Christmas jammy's, .....
| Read scriptures and set up the nativity... |
| started our new "gifts to the Savior" tradition.... {everyone wrote down what gifts we could give the Savior and we put them in a stocking} |
Then we hung up our own stockings!!!
Set out Cookies & Milk for Santa, checked out where he was and headed off to bed!!
| Brad & I had a fun evening, wrapping presents, eating yummy snacks, watched White Christmas and got ready for the morning... the other tradition we started... we blocked the view of the front room ... covered the door way with wrapping paper... (leaving a "parent flap"} so we could crawl through... I wanted to be on the other side when they busted through!!! |
Christmas Morning
| the kids got a present from Iverson {our elf} and a note reminding them to be good all year, and saying goodbye until next year!!! |
| "its a pillow, it's a pet!!, Its a Pillow-Pet!!!" they all got good ol' pillow pets!! |
Santa Presents...
| Max got NFL xbox game |
| Bron got all the Indiana Jones movies... |
| ... Parker got Lego Harry Potter xbox game.... |
| ... and Reese got this little mirror.... she loves to LOOK in the mirror she thinks she's so cute!!! |
| Bron thoroughly enjoying his Christmas... laying on his new pillow and watching his new movie... |
| Reese also enjoying a Christmas present... her NEW chair!!! |
| Fushigi!!!! Sooooo were suckers for the advertised toys on all the cartoon commercials...it's fine.... although I must say, Fushigi "the magic gravity ball" is a waist of $20 bucks, for a kid toy, if your a total nerd and have hours to spend watching the DVD to learn and practice all the 'tricks' it's great and pretty cool, but a 5 year old will not be able to do any of these FUSHIGI tricks... just so ya know... but they were excited they got it!!! Now I'll got flush $20 bucks down the toilet... {but I'm not bitter} |
Christmas at Grammy & Pa-Pa's.... all the grandkids took turns opening their presents... we opened presents, we gave presents, we ate yummy food, etc. etc.. it was fantastic!
| the kids, or us, opened something and it turned into a dog pile, wrapping paper crazy bash in 0 seconds flat... it was quite funny!! |
We had a really great Holiday, lots of fun, layed back, lazy, relaxing day enjoying family and remembering the birth of our Savior!!! I LOVE Christmas!!!
