A Hunting We Will Go....

As traditon goes in the Bevan Family, we go up every year to the Tooele Mountains and cut down our Christmas Tree. We usually go the day after Thanksgiving but switched it up a little this year and went a week early, this is one of my most favorite things....

all of us with our trees hiking back down the mountain.... it does get a little tricky when we start to hike down, cause we have 8 kids all 7 and under so.... but the kids did such a good job at hiking little Elle got carried in a backpack and baby Boone but the rest hiked all by themselves... Bron & Owen had a little help too, they got to ride on someones shoulders, but I have to say I'm proud of my Max who can be quite lazy, he did a great job and hiked all by him self and just kept walking even when he got tired... and of course Parker is a hiking machine like his Dad....

Sooo we have the tree YEAH!!! but we will not put it up till after Thanksgiving.... another successful Tree Hunt

My current project

This is a project we've been working on since last year, it's finally coming together. It's been a lot of hard work for a lot of people... just wanted to show it off.

ANY SUGGESTIONS???

Ok so I am trying to decide what to do with my pictures... I typically take them, and put them in a family photo album. I now don't know if I should just forget all that and use my blog here, or continue with the albums... I am 2 years behind on my albums... ya thats right 2 years.... plus I have Brons baby book to do which I do birth to one year old, I literally have like 5 pages of that done, so then I'll have ALL of 2007 to do and all of 2008 to do, it doesn't take long I just put the pictures in the slip pages and call it good, I used to scrap book them all but thats long gone... so my question is, do I stop developing pictures and stick to a blog or should I keep it going and have actually photo albums...??? I really would love some response here people cuz I gotta decide and my memory card is FULL.... totally FULL so please quickly help me make my decision... Thanks and happy picture taking... for you, not me...

Contest

So I have added on the right hand side, details about this contest, if you have a minute check it out, it's kinda fun and Matt's songs are goooood. There is a cute one that he wrote about him and Brooke it's the one called 'Our song' and another funny one called lady in pink, inspired by a Murder Mystery party my family had a couple years ago....(I guess I'd have to tell you about that one...) anyways, just thought you all should vote for him cause he's totally awesome... and I want him to win or at least beat the Osmond kid who is also in the contest... but hello he's an Osmond so does'nt he already have an "in" ... ya! anyways we're cheering for ya Matt!!!

TriAtHlOn!!

My sisters and I all did the Telos Turkey Tri together on Saturday ... we always have so much fun when we are together...


We were laughing when we had our ages put on our legs.... 25, 26, 28, & 30 were like a litter of puppies my dear sweet mother what was she thinking? Just kidding... I love my mother and love that we are so close in age. We are the best of friends.
My friend Tricia also did the triathlon, some day I'll be as good as her... well probably not, but a girl can dream... I love her she is a BIG part of me doing things like this, and is just like one of my sisters...My cute boys theres a picture just like this of Max... thought I added it on here, guess not.. oh well he was there too Ha ha...

My cute mother came to support all of her daughters she is so cute, she helped Brad with the kids and watched them while we went to the game, they kept busy entertaining themselves with the leaves while we raced... ThanKS MOm!!!

I love my sista's and am grateful to do stuff like this with them.

Zermatt

We went up to Zermatt after the BYU game on Saturday, we had a great, relaxing time. Did a little swimming/soaking in the hot tub, then went back to our room and put the kids to bed... I sat by the cozy fire and fell asleep it was pretty awesome I was exhausted from the days events it was nice to go and relax, Brad even let me sleep in the next morning while he took the kids swimming again. Later Brooke and Matt met us up there, we went on a little walk while she took pictures with a new camera she was testing out, then we went and got some grub at a really yummy pizza place, then to the park and then home for 2 seconds, then we were off to my nephews birthday party, it was a nice, layed back day. Thanks to Brooke and Matt for coming up and hangen with us, it was fun, and thanks for the song Matt!!

sNO!!!!

UUhGg! Ready or not, winter is officially here.... we're getting way more snow than I thought... the kids were so excited when they looked outside.... I on the other hand am NOT a fan, and will not be going anywhere today. Don't get me wrong I enjoy some good sledding and building awesome snow men... just don't love the hassle it takes to go out in it and the coldness of it. Brrr!
Luckily I pulled out all the snow stuff a week or so ago so we had it all ready to go, we bundled Parker up and sent him out to trudge thru the snow...

Max just had to go out, Coat, boxers, and boots.... and he of course had to taste it, we recently went over the RULES of eating snow... he also asked if it was Christmas... we had to explain that snow just meant it was getting closer to Christmas time.

I'm glad the kids find some joy in it...

oh and p.s. Parker gets a ride to school with the neighbors across the street the picture is him walking across the street NOT to school, ha ha I would'nt let him walk to school by himself in the snow.... up hill both ways.

tRICK oR TrEAt !!

OOOh a DAY of trick or treating.... Parker left the house in the morning to go "trick or trick" with his friend and his dads work, he came home, in time for us to go to the mall and "trick or treat"...
we got home had dinner and went, of course, TrICk Or TrEaTinG ...
