Christmas Day!!!
ChRiSTmaS MoRnInG!!! The kids waiting to be able to "come out" we always make them wait until everything is ready before they can come see the goods... I just realized too that I only have 3 pictures of ChRiStmAS MoRninG... we got caught up in the moment, and were busy recording it all I completely forgot to snap some more picts... we had my parents join us in the morning... and Uncle Jesse... we thought it would be fun for them to watch the kids open their presents, beings that were all grown and out of the house... so here's the 3 pictures... two of which are pretty much the same...
I had to take this of Max when he got HIS BYU hat... he wears hats literally 24/7... (because he apparently doesn't like his haircut, which I have cut several times now) I think he is just in the habit of wearing one now...( the hat wearing started because of a haircut... which was also the way I always cut it... he just decided he didn't like it and started wearing a hat) he really does wear it all the time too... he SLEEPS in it... the only time its off is at church and in the shower or bath... I think its quite funny... anyways he had been wearing a cubs hat ... then changed to a BYU hat that was Parker's... so we had to get him one of his own... he was pretty excited!!! He also got the Knight Castle he asked for, from Santa!!!
Bron asked for Mickey Mouse and Santa delivered two Mickey Mouse figures... and Parker asked for Fuzion Frenzy 2 the xbox 360 game... Santa was sneaky this year and put the game in the xbox instead of wrapping it... so Parker didn't think he was getting it... we then discovered a bow and tag on the xbox with Parker's name on it.. Parker ejected the game and what do ya know!!! He wasn't forgotten after all... I must say I'm quite proud of my Parker... he really did not think he was getting what he asked for, and was very cute about it... he was not a brat and did not wine about it at all, he just figured he didn't get it, but seemed happy with what he had gotten from us... way to go bud!!! Mom and Dad knew Santa would NOT leave you out... your such a GOOD BOY!!! We have video of that... I'll have to upload it on for all to see!!
After presents we ate breakfast and tried out a few of the new toys... but then it was off to the cabin!!!
We got there and hung out for a bit... then when we had all arrived and we were ready to start with the gifts we started out with Ken & Mary's presents to us... this year at Thanksgiving Ken & Mary gave each of us and envelope of money to do whatever we wanted with it... we had to get what we wanted and then bring it, wrapped to the cabin to show everyone....
Brad and I put our money together and bought ourselves a much needed NEW water heater!!! Talk about the a fabulous gift... and one that keeps on given... we of course could not wrap this baby up... one because it was already installed and two we didn't' have time to wrap the box... so I snapped a few picts of it, and wrapped our camera and called it good enough... THANKS to Ken & Mary .... this baby is serving us well!!!
and thanks to Brad's buddy, for helping us install it, and getting us a sweat deal!!!!
the kids then opened their presents... Parker got hooked up with a sweet Nerf gun set...
Bron got Monster trucks...

and Max got a cool Star Wars "laptop" ...

Sara snapped a picture of Devin holding Cute Baby Emery... Ben & Shea's new baby girl...
And Boston and Bron were enjoying themselves playing monster trucks....

Later that Night we headed off to my parents for some more presents!!!
Mom & Dad of course, spoiled us all, again!!! The kids got hooked up with some fun little toys, new clothes, and lots of other stuff...

they also bought the grand kids a mini Foosball table for them to play with at Grammy and papas... its pretty cool, the kids have loved it already...

We then opened our presents.... Bruce and Kathy always hook us up to say the least... lets just say luggage & a Magellan for everyone!!! And lots of other odds and ends... lifetime supply of batteries and paper... (well not the way we go thru those things around here) new sheets... I LOVE new sheets and was in desperate need of them... oh and these cute scarves that we are all modeling... This is us trying to make "scarf" faces...
and then cute, normal faces...
Brooke didn't' like the first picture, mostly cause Kara said she looked like squidward from Sponge bob... so we tried more "scarf" faces... but I couldn't stop laughing about the squidward comment, so I kept ruining the pictures....

I somehow managed to pull another "scarf" face... actually Jesse somehow managed to snap the picture just in time before I burst out laughing again... I LOVE, LOVE my sisters!! We were laughing hysterically, it is times like this that I LOVE the most!!!!
We had a wonderful Christmas! I love spending time with family, and taking a break from the "every day"... it was nice to spend time not stressing about other things... until next Christmas!!!
and P.S.
I have to brag about what Brad got me... he got me my BLOG!!! ha ha... I have been wanting to get it made into a book for a long time now... and Brad did!!! I was so proud of him, I didn't know he even knew I wanted that done... so I now have all my pictures in a book... I have scrapbooked everything... and then switched to blogging... however I still wanted an actual BOOK of it all, so he delivered, it turned out great!!! I absolutely LOVE it... and will continue to get it done, probably one year at a time... way to go babe, of course another grand present!! (Brad is a very good gift giver)... LOVE YOU!!!

12 Days of Christmas
We did a twelve days of Christmas this year with the boys... I didn't want the Holidays to get away from us without doing something fun, so starting on the 13th we did one fun, festive, thing a night... I only have pictures of two of the things we did... I'm trying to think of everything in order that we did... the first night we watched a Christmas movie, the second night we made a Christmas chain... and honestly from then on I don't remember... we made snowflakes one night... went Sub-for-Santa shopping, went and saw the lights, went on our annual Christmas light Scavenger Hunt... and made "gingerbread" houses... there was more but I can't think of what they are... it was a lot of fun, and nice to make sure we took the time to enjoy the season.
Here's our houses... I used my cousins tip on hot gluing the Gram crackers together... genius ... it took the stress and tears of it falling over, out of it.... the kids absolutely LOVED it!!! They all did such a good job, we had lots of fun!!
Brad - Bron - Parker... Brooke & Max
Kalli & Elli

The final results... this is Max's house... he was adorable and very creative... he was so excited to use the pretzels as windows... and did the majority of it himself, he loved it... and I'm taking credit for the cute marshmallow snowman...
Parker's house... that he did all by himself... no help... I loved the gumdrop fence, cereal windows, and waffer cookie door... he also wanted a cool snowman...
Bron & Dad's house... he had lots of fun and kept saying the cutest things... his mouth was also blue after he helped himself to a little taste of the blue sprinkles....
Brook's house... Brooke is very creative.. I liked the touch of powdered sugar as fresh fallen snow... good job Brookie...
and last but not least cute Elli's house... I of course loved the heart candy cane door... she was also very cute ... her and Bron kept wanting people to look at there good work!!! The kids were so cute and so much fun during this little project we'll have to make sure to do it again next year!

... and all of them together, all finished!!! Great Holiday Fun!!!
