We went down to Logan the Thursday Night before the race, we grabbed some food and went to Z's in laws to crash for the night...they were great to welcome 12 loud adults, acting like teenagers, into their home...

we decorated our 'vans' / Suburbans and then hit good ol' Walmart for some last minute items...

had to get a pic by the Ragnar symbol made from orange shasta boxes

then Tam and Tricia had to leg wrestle to see who got to sleep on the air mattress,...

Tamra lost... yet they both slept on a mattress haha... we took a group photo and tried to sleep...

::Friday Morning::

getting ready!!!

Z decided she look like Ben Stiller from Zoolander so she made us take pictures of her pulling the 'blue steel' look!! hahha she cracks me up!!!

I can see the resemblance ;)

we were all ready so we loaded up and got on our merry little way...

...and the party begins....

We drove to our first major exchange:: checked in:: and waited for van 1 to get there...

I don't know how long we waited... it probably really wasn't that long, but I was the first runner so I was getting anxious!!!

we drove up to Snow basin to wait for Anna who was going to pass off to Brad

we got to East Canyon and tried to get some rest...
no one slept of course, for a lot of reasons, but the people playing football and frisbee directly over our heads, sure didn't help either...

... and now to be honest the rest of these pictures are all a blur I don't remember when, or who's turn... if these are in order or not...???? That second day is hot and your tired, that's what I remember...

and Brad made peppermint tea for everyone haha, they all had upset tummies so Brad whipped out his stove and water and yes, he brought some tea... saved the day!!!

Z was amazing and ran with Tom and Annie, helped them through these tough last legs!!! I attempted to run with them, but ate so much food after my last run I couldn't run anymore or I would have barfed!!!

we parked and waited for Anna to come by so we could cheer her on, while we were waiting (for a whole 5 minutes) we all fall asleep, except Annie I think, who saw her yelled and woke us all up! Scared the crap out of all of us... we were pretty tired at this point...
