Brad & I headed to the Unita Mountains for a fantastic overnighter!!
I had to take a picture of our packs... Brads was just a bit bigger & heavier than mine... ha ha...

We took a little walk around and snapped a picture by this pond with the lake in background!
once we got settled we pumped up the boat and went fishing!
I caught 4 and Brad caught like 7! It was sooo much fun!!!

our good friends Clayton and his girlfriend Ashley, Brennon & Lyndsey Miller and Matt Wade and his girl, Jill, all met us up there! We went out on the boats at night and rowed around, so much fun!!!

I have loved getting into the outdoors again... seems I took a little break there for a while due all the kiddies... it's been so much to get to go more lately! LOVE it all! We had so much fun! Thanks to Mary & Sara for hold'n down the fort!!!

Third grade!!

Well we have school starting for the next 3 weeks around here... Parker was the first to start, and for a kid who "doesn't like school" he was sure excited!!! He was up and going and was completely ready at about 7:50! School starts at 8:40... he was bouncen off the walls and thrilled to be going back... we are very excited for this year, I'm even more excited cause Parker got Mrs. Trane, who was MY kindergarten teacher! ha ha, She taught at Altara all those years ago ha ha, it was her 2nd year teaching... which is also funny because I only went to school here for three years{then moved to Idaho} so the odds are slim that we would run into this predicament... I was thrilled when I found out she was at our school and was in fact the Mrs. Trane I had... she is awesome and I think Parker will love her... she had him stand up and tell everyone "who he was" and that "his mom" had Mrs. Trane when she was little... she's so cute, I'm super excited for this year!

Last weekend...

"Last" weekend before school... Our main event was spent up by deer creek with our good friends the Norths,... we met them up there and hung out by the lake for a while... the kids played in the water... floating around on this "jet ski" and throwing rocks in...

Brad of course took his fishing pole...
... then took a little dip with Bron...

Bron is so funny and always lays on the 'cement' when we go 'swimming'... the rocks didn't seem to bug him, he went right ahead and layed on them too!

The boys got dressed before we headed to the campsite... Bron, of course, got wet and then decided to take his clothes off... he wanted to get on his jammys but they were in the car, so he took the journey in his underwears!!

we got back to camp and had a delicious dutch oven dinner and then roasted marshmellows....

we had lots of fun, great way to spend our "last weekend"...

Reese is officially in that stage where she rolls over... then decides she wishes she hadn't... every once in a while she can roll back over onto her back... but for the most part she rolls over, then gets frustrated and starts crying... poor thing! But she's getting good practice at holding her head up, and she does her crunches every day, getting ready to sit up! My sweet girl is growing soooo fast!

Family Pics

We got our family pictures taken last week. Well my main goal was to get pictures of the kids... my boys were due and it seems like I typically do it right before school, and Reese was due for her 3 month pictures... so actually a couple family pictures snapped real quick was just a bonus!

Family Fun

We got together with my dad's brothers kids... so my cousins ha ... and had a little bbq and a whole lotta fun with this mega slip'n'slide! We've done this several times this year and it's been great! This hill was perfect for this!

We had a lot of fun, and it was so great to see all my cousins again, we used to get together fairly regularly but it seems these days are few and far between, so it was a good time! Lots of laughs and I'm totally sore today, and have recovered from my "minor concussion" and weird {de ja vue} I was having afterward, due to my fall, and head injury... ha ha.. anyways fun stuff!
