Our Weekend

We had a pretty fun-filled weekend again, it is Labor Day weekend, so I guess it's only half over, but so far it's been great!! Beings that its labor day means it was Swiss Days, huge holiday in the Wade Fam, Brad and I have been going to Swiss Days together for like 10 years, crazy... so we went to Midway and stayed at Brad's dad's cabin, we had a great time, we went 4 wheeling Thursday night when we got there.....
then went to Swiss Days bright and early Friday morning, we got there at 7:30 and started making the rounds... I bought everything I wanted within the hour, so then we just hung out all day, ate some good food, the kids played on the blow-ups etc. etc.
Later Friday night Brad, myself and Parker played a little croquet, which turned into Hocky Ball Parker came up with this idea to play a comibination of games...which he called hocky ball, so we all had our mallets and ONE ball and we went thru the course, fighting over the ball, the person to hit the ball thru the last hoop was the winner, it was actually very fun, and quit hilarious. Parker is a fun kid.
This is Parker when "he won" playing one on one with dad. He was proud, it was pretty cute.
These are my big purchases this year, from swiss days, I got a couple other small things but I loved these pictures, I've been looking for a good picture of the Salt Lake Temple, and the other I couldn't resist, I'm putting it in the boys room.... pretty sweet. and of course the BIG GAME, we are so happy the season has started, we had a BLAST at the game, this is our friends. Tom & Andrea back left, our friend Paul right up front and Ben & Tricia... we LOVE these guys and are looking forward to some GOOD times this year, the game was pretty dang HOT at first but was better the second half, and of course our COuGarS WON 41 to 17, Way to go COuGs! The third quarter didn't look great, lotta fumbles it was rediculous, but they pulled thru in the end. After the game Tom and Andrea and us, went to Bajio for dinner in Provo, we were starving and didn't want to deal with the traffic, worked out great, GOOD TIMES!!

Parker's first day of school!

Wow!! I can not beleive my Parker is going to school ALL day, It's just wierd. I'm more nervous than he is. He was so excited to go and is thrilled with the thought of being there all day and having two recesses, and eating lunch at school, I'm the one walking him to the front door and checking on him at lunch, and will be asking a million questions about how the day went. I know he'll be fine. I'm surprised and how emotional I've been about it, it's hard to explain... you just have to let them go, and start being there own person, and I'm hoping he makes good choices, and has friends to play with, and doesn't forget his lunch number, and remembers his student # and where the bathrooms are.... I just have this thought in my mind that he'll need something and I won't be able to be there to help him.... I know, I know, it's just first grade ha ha ....but before ya know it, he's gonna be graduating High School, and going on a mission, and getting married ..... sorry kinda got lost in my own thoughts there.... anyways we are proud of Parker and are excited for a new School year.

Bee's game

Well we had a serious fun-filled Day yesterday, Cherry Hill in the morning & afternoon, followed by the Bee's game that night.
One of the outfielders threw this ball towards the grass crowd, the guy behind us actually caught it but then gave it to our friends boys... they were excited. What a nice guy...
We just sat on the grass so the kids could run around and play, it worked out pretty good, they got a little crazy, but we had a great time.
We went with our friends the Norths & the Newmans.
Dog pile on Levi
Aren't we cute. There was a firework show after wards.... seriously great show, One of the best I've seen, it was Fab!!! Good times.

Ch- Ch- Ch Cherry Hill

Well we managed to squeeze it all in!!! School starts on Tuesday (officially for first graders)and we got everything on our summer to do list accomplished, Brad had the day off on Friday so we headed North to Cherry Hill, we had originally wanted to camp over and do kind of a weekend thing so I did not think we were going to be able to go to Cherry Hill, but when Brad said he had the day off we decided just to go for the day...
We did not tell the kids where we were going, Parker was hilarious and would NOT drop the subject, he was guessing places from the second we told him we had a surprise for them. We told them Thursday night and he just kept listing places he thought we were going, and the first thing Friday morning was another guess... once we had our suits on in the morning he did actually guess Cherry Hill but we did not tell him he was right, this was there reaction when we pulled up and he found out he was right, Parker with a "I knew it" grin, and Max looking anxiously, trying to figure it all out.

There is a cool pirate ship and pirate water park area, and of course we had to buy swords.
All the kids under the towels just taken a break from swimming.
Parker, he LOVES to go underwater, the other picture from us swimming a couple days ago was this same thing, he is so proud he can hold his breath and put his whole head under and "swim"
Max getting soaked....the first time he put his back to it, it pulled his swim suit down, he thought it was pretty funny.
Bron, he was timid at first to get near these water falls cause they're pretty strong...but eventually he would go completly under and occasionally try and drink it... gross, but thats Bron for ya...

Swimming at Crestwood

So we got another thing crossed off our list... looks like we're gonna get all but one done, cause we are going to the Bees game this week too, Cherry Hill will have to wait till maybe after school starts.... time just flys by.... but 3 out of 4 aint bad...

Cute Bron
Max
Parker...don't worry he's not dead, I realized when I downloaded this, it looked kinda creepy, he is getting alot more comfortable in the water... obviously just him "swimming" under water.
They have every one get out of the pool every so often... the kids were cold so we told them to lay on the hot cement. Even the babies joined in, it was so cute.... we went with Tricia and her cute kids!!
Bron swimming with Dad, he was loving it... and Brad sporten some sweet orange gogles... (they are really Max's.)
Ha Ha I had to add this picture we went to Del Taco after we went swimming, Ya thats right Del Taco... sadly Brad was craving it... yikes! Bron helped himself to half a packet of hot sauce.... it was hilarious, he was spitting, and drooling, I couldn't resist grabbing the camera, his face got pretty red, he was all but foaming at the mouth... it was so funny....I'm such a mean mom. I did give him some water and fries to relieve the hotness. Hot sauce...not his favorite treat.

Lost tooth

Parker's first tooth he lost.
The hole in his mouth...
Him putting his tooth under his pillow for the tooth fairy ;)
Parker has lost two teeth now, it's so crazy he's loosing teeth... pretty funny too, his first tooth, was loose and he was nervous to have Brad pull it, so we told him we would'nt do it till he was ready, so one day Brad was looking at it, and we decided he was "ready" so Brad was putting the dental floss in place and it literally fell out, no pulling neccessary, and this second one was kind of loose but Parker was playing at the park and was talking into this megaphone thing (the red thing in the picture)and he bumped his mouth on it and POPped the tooth right out and it fell right in his hand, it was so funny. So two teeth out, lots more to go!

BOWLING - check.

So we made up this list of things we want to do before the summer is over, we only have like 21 more days until School starts, so in no particular order we have started getting things crossed off our list.
Kougs cute bowling shoes Kougar bowling, he was proud he could carry the ball over to the ramp all himself... and he would smile a big ol' smile every time he knocked pins down, almost surprised that he did,( he did'nt understand the whole bumpers thing ) It was very cute.
Parker bowling, he is "too big" for the ramp
They gave each other "five" after one of them went bowling it was so cute so I made them re-in-act it.
Bron was good at cheering every body on, he would clap every time pins got knocked down.

Brons turn to bowl, he thought it was great!

We had a blast, I won the first game, I'm not sure how, I am not a good bowler... and Parker won the second game and then had the highest score over all, grantide he had bumpers, but still that does'nt say much for Brad and I.... ha ha... but we had a great time. Now three more things to get done before School starts, it's comen fast.
