Started the day off baking and cooking. Made yams, potatoes, rolls, and cookies! Bron is always my best helper in the kitchen!
We spent Christmas Eve at Mary's.
The kids went straight to the tree and were finding all their presents!
We ate a delicious dinner and stuffed ourselves full up! Then opened presents!
Everyone got an ornament...
Reese and Emery got bears, purses and rocking horses
She is such a poser!
Bron was excited for his presents!
Max got a BYU pull over and a Broncos clock... right up his alley!
Parker got hooked up with this new snowboarding helmet & goggles!
The boys and their parachute guys

The girls in the cute Christmas Jammys
The kids played a game where they had to unwrap the present with gloves on... it was layered in wrapping paper, they each had 20 seconds to unwrap it as much as possible... winner was the one to take off the last layer and open it up...
Jarren did not win :( thus the sad face...
Bron did... haha he threw out some hang loose and...uh peace?
we then played adult bingo! It was an awesome, good time! walked away with a prize!
Reesey being cute
Max and mom snuggling on the couch
Devin and Cakes snuggling on the couch
we rushed home before Santa came... it was cutt'n it close... we layed out the snacks, took some pics and it was off to bed!!
Reese fell asleep on the way home so we didn't get the classic hang up your stocking picture... sad... but she looks pretty cute sleeping in her bed, slippers still on...
We got right to work and finished up a few things before we headed off to bed as well... although I didn't sleep very well I was pretty excited for Christmas morning!
We had finished the basement (mostly) and had kept it a secret from the boys, they had NO Idea it was done and that the carpet was in. So needless to say we were anxious for them to wake up and have Christmas downstairs!!!!!
CHRISTMAS MORNING!!!!!!!!
We wrapped the doorway like we always do, but had this snowflake hanging down that said to "follow the snowflakes"
We wrapped the doorway like we always do, but had this snowflake hanging down that said to "follow the snowflakes"
the tore down the paper, ran to the tree, and were so excited to see the COOKIES gone and they were anxiously searching for Iverson (our elf) Parker read the snowflake and they were a little confused...
Brad and I went down and had them wait until we called them....
*the smiles on their faces*
Parkers first words, "Are our rooms done?"...
They ran straight there to check them out... Bron ran straight to a couple presents we had not wrapped and was excited about those... haha.
They were pretty shocked, weren't quite sure what to think, it was pretty awesome!!!
They kept saying it was the best Christmas ever!
They kept saying it was the best Christmas ever!
they found Iverson, who stayed for the day to watch all the fun!
Then we got right into it!
Reese got to go first!
Llama Llama books! Her favorite!!!
Mouth guards for everyone!
a princess crown for Reese. Ever since we got back from Disneyland she sings I'm a princess every day!!!
I had to get a picture of them by their doors! Finishing the basement was a big part of their Christmas!
haha and had to snap this pic... Max just trying on one of his new presents
We got Max's bed moved down right away, he was so excited!
Reese loves Parker's new bed was hanging out it for a good hour, just playing on the Ipad
...and we got Bron's room all re-arranged too! He was anxious as well to have his brothers get their stuff out, he has already re-arranged it again, and I think now, has it just the way he wants it.
after the boys got settled in their new rooms and we played with some of their toys, we wondered back over to Nanny's for some lunch! Brad was craving fin & haddy, which I'm actually not sure in Finnan Haddy or Fin & Haddy.. Haddie..?? Either way its a tradition in the Wade home on Christmas Day. We also had some delicious home made pancakes and syrup, made with love by Devin.
and the boys played with Jarrens new car track, they got creative!
Then we went to my parents' house for the remainder of the evening!
Cute Brad and Boone were twinners!
Parker brought his new present... boxing gloves... still not sure how I feel about this idea... but it was hit... no pun intended ;-) we had a few rounds between all the grandkids, it was hilarious!

The kids watching a movie...
The adults playing a game...
We had a really great Christmas! Spent with all our loved ones! Good food, fun presents given and received!
I had to get this picture of Bron. Sleeping in his own bed, in his own room. He has slept on a crib mattress his entire life, so this was pretty monumental for him. All the boys had their first night in their own rooms for the very first time ever. They have always been together! I was downstairs getting Max and Parker settled when Bron wondered down and said "I just wanted to say goodnight" It was the cutest thing ever... it was kind of his last goodbye, his ::well,... this is it, moment:: it kind of made me sad and I went up and layed with Bron until he fell asleep.
