Father's Day Weekend

We kicked off the weekend with our first of the summer, outdoor movie, at my parents... we watched The Fantastic Mr. Fox, it's hilarious!!! If you haven't seen it, get it! You'll laugh your butt off! The kids kicked it on a couple of queen blow up mattress' eating who knows how much candy and popcorn...

we had a sleep over... the four oldest grand kids slept in the front room on their blow up mattress and giggled and chatted the night away, they had sooo much fun!!!
Saturday... We woke up and had what we call "big breakfast" ... it's just that, pancakes, eggs, breakfast meats, fruit, etc. etc.... Parker had some summer soccer games that we were at most of the afternoon but when we got back we played in the yard and then my dad wanted to make the kids hand prints in cement so we did that little project

and the kids played on the water slides...
Sunday...
After church, we went up to Brad's dad's cabin in Midway... Parker got his first lesson on how to use and ride a four wheeler... he was LOVEN cruisen around the field all by himself!

such a big boy!
We also set up a big ol' slip 'n slide, the kids and boys had a blast!
Max, Brynlee, Bron, Boston, Jarren

Reese and I hung out in the shade and watched everyone's funny faces as they slid down! It was fun, then we had a little BBQ and hung out... good times at the cabin!!
Happy Father's Day to all the dads! I am grateful for a wonderful dad and a wonderful husband who is a wonderful dad! They both always put their family first and know the importance of a strong family! I am so blessed and feel so lucky to have these men in my life who have such great qualities!!!

Looks like you had such a fun weekend! That looks like so much fun watching movies outside on a air mattress. Love it! It was fun seeing you guys a week ago for Brads birthday even though it was a quick visit. We will for sure have to plan something with everyone next time we are in town.

We love you guys and we love your family Jen. Seriously, couldn't have asked for a better father's day weekend! I kind of secretly wish that I was a kid growing up in your family. You guys are always having so much fun! Your Dad is the best!
