Denver Trip

So we went to Denver with our friends Matt and Cynthia to visit our friends Bryce and Kelly who moved out there about two years ago, we had a blast!! We went to dinner, went on a couple of tours, the Denver Broncos stadium tour and the Coors plant tour. We hung out at their house, played games...did a little hot tubbing, went to the mall, went to breakfast... it was a great weekend, they are good friends and lots of fun to be around, it was a nice little break from the kids.... but we of course were happy to see them again... but good times... good memories!

Max's Birthday!

Max Kougar.... 3 years old.... I know I always say it's crazy that my kids are getting older... and how I can't believe it, and that time is flying by but it's true. Max is 3 and it's crazy... I'm trying to think of how I would describe him, he's very fun, and full of personality, he's trouble yet super sweet especially with kids younger than him, although he has been our little potty mouth lately, lets just say you could catch him with a bar of soap in his mouth, but he's funny cause he'll also just be sitting there and then say.... mom I love you, it's the greatest thing ever.So he's got this good/ bad thing going on... He is very funny, and likes attention, he is seeming older these days, and a lot of what he says surprises me, he'll say stuff and I wonder where he learned it, you will ask him a question, and you kind of expect a 3 year olds answer, but for the most part he gives you a real normal answer.... down to earth, and aware of his surroundings for a 3 year old... he is a very fun person, he is great to have around we love him so much, we always say there is just something about him? He's a great kid, will talk to anyone give anyone hugs... just a fun, good natured kid, life wouldn't be the same with out our Max, we love you kiddo.

We had his birthday party tonight, his race car birthday. He said he wanted a race car birthday I'm not sure where he got the idea from but it was kinda fun, I got a whole bunch of black poster board and we made a race car track going down the hall, and we got more red poster board and we made a sweet race car out of it, parker is a good little helper, he was excited to help get everything ready the night before, he helped blow up balloons and helped color the race car... and I made a totally awesome race car cake, thanks to Kara who helped me with my sweet cake making skills, we've had some fun birthday cakes.... it was a good night... lots a good presents,we had fun, thanks to everyone who was able to come and for all the fun stuff, Max is a lucky boy to have so many great aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents... he is defenitley loved.

Happy Birthday to Bronson!!!

Bronson's Birthday

Bron is One!!! Holy cow, it's gone by so fast, but at the same time, seems like he was born yesterday, but that he's always been here...it was weird for me to have my youngest turn one, I got a little chocked up when we sang happy birthday. I know it sounds lame, but my baby is getting old! We are at this stage in our life where we're not sure we'll have more kids, we think we will but if we don't... I don't know it just kinda hit me when we sang him happy birthday that my kids are getting older, and this time is flying by... it is so fun to have small kids in the home, they are so fun and innocent.... but they don't stay little long. And Bron just really isnt' a baby anymore and I love babies... he is walking now so is even more all over the place... he has been moving since he was about 5 months old, and I mean moving..... crawling everywhere, getting into everything, now he just moves around upright, but has started to get up on things... he climbs on the fireplace, on the couch on his walker thing he will crawl into it or climb up on it and stand up... he has no fear... hes into all the cupboards, he goes in the boys room and dumps out all the toys... he really keeps me busy, and has a lot of energy... he is layed back and content, but also seems to have a slight temper, he can get very upset... he's easily entertained and loves to laugh, and is starting to talk he can say uh oh, mom, dad, and pa-pa, he loves to play with his brothers and loves to watch what they are doing. He is so much fun.... Three boys is really starting to seem like three boys.... they're messy, and stinky, and into everything, they think certain bodily functions are hilarious, they talk like boys... they burp like boys... they fight like boys, they love to wrestle, they run around, they yell, did I mention they're stinky, I can only imagine what lies ahead... I love my boys and wouldn't want it any other way, they are so much fun and can't imagine my life with out them...

We had a blast Christmas morning the kids got up around 7 - 7:30, they waited somewhat paitentley until they got the ok to go out, the kids must have been good, cause Santa came, we started with opening the presents from us and then continued onto the presents from Santa, the kids were so excited with every presents, it was so cute, it was nice to take the morning slow they would open a present, we would play with it, then move onto the next, the kids loved every minute of it, Santa left little cereals in their stockings so they had that for breakfast and we later went and had a bigger breakfast with Nanny and Granddad, Sara, and Devin, Jenny and Aaron and Chad, they always have fin and haddy if thats even how you spell it..... fish is what it is, Brad loves it, so we had that, delicious wassle, eggs, hashbrowns, the whole bit, then we opened presents with them, and just had a nice afternoon there, later we went to my parents and were first able to talk to my brother Jesse, who will be home from his mission in 51 days (but who's counting) he sounds good, he's excited to see us all again, but also knows he's really going to miss the people and the whole experience, he has a great attitude about everything, we are so ready for him to come home. After we talked to him we opened all our presents from mom and dad, lets just say we got spoiled this year from then... it was really fun, we just hung out there for the rest of the night, playing with new toys, and enjoying the day, we are so blessed to have such great families, I'm sad the Holidays are over now... but excited for the new year too! I have not officially written down my goals for this year, but I will and get them posted for more motivation to do them! I am grateful for my family and the memories we are making now, my kids are so much fun!!! I love them and Brad more than I can say!!!!
