Father's Day Events...

We celebrated Father's Day with my Dad on Saturday... Which began with us trying to get a bird out of the house, right when we got there a bird came flying in.... Brooke tried to get it to land on this broom stick ... but Dad could see that wasn't going to work....
So he just went up and grabbed it... ha ha
it was the cutest little baby bird ... it just got a little lost, Dad captured it and gently let it go....
.... My Dad is pretty much hard to buy for, he did however need a new BBQ so we all went in on one for him... he seemed pretty surprised, it was nice to get him something he actually really needed... we told dad we were going to BBQ in the garage due to this awesome weather, so we asked him to go light the bbq, we then, of course, had the NEW bbq and us there instead...
Matt cooken up some delicious Burgers from "their cow"...
Later we spent some time playing with smoke balls... the kids loved it, Dad (aka papa)was putting them in the old BBQ and other funny places...





SUNDAY
Sunday Morning... we squeezed in breakfast and presents before Brad was off to his weekly Church meetings
.... Parker was very cute, with each present he gave a reason why we love dad (my idea, but Parker came up with all of the reasons)... .. he did a good job!!! We love him very much, Brad is a great dad, he supports us in every way possible!!! The boys adore him and love to spend time with him and go on adventures with him... He is a great example to his 3 boys who will some day be dad's themselves.... ..
. ... .. Later that night we went to Brad's dad's house... we were not able to stay long due to my Grandma's viewing that night, so I didn't get any pictures, this is from last year... I didn't want to leave Ken out... my kids love spending time with Granddad!!
