Thanksgiving morning started bright and early with a little roll preparation... cute little Bronny came and wanted to help, he got all the scrap dough and got busy, he was very cute copying what I was doing...
and Max was a good helper with the yams!
... his end result was rather impressive! Such a cute boy!
This year was a Wade year! We went to Mary's house and enjoyed a delicious Turkey Feast! I enjoyed making the table pretty with some linens provided by Specialty Linens and some cute place cards I made... Ben brought this poster of Chad so we were able remember him on our first Thanksgiving without him... :(
Cute Jarren, Bron and Boston... good little buddies!
Parker, Max and Brynlee! yay for cousins!!
Ben, Shea and Sharon, we were lucky enough to have Sharon join us this year, it was nice to have her there, we love her and were glad she could join us!
we had to snap this pic of all FOUR kids playing some game on a cell phone, crazy technology these days...

Tree Hunt~A hunting we will go!! We usually head to the Tooele Mountains the Friday after Thanksgiving, but we went up Saturday, this year instead... it was a little chilly not too bad, not much snow at all..., it went pretty well, we got a great tree!! Picked out by yours truly this year...

Max picked out a cute little tree for their room and Park cut it down!
~cute little buddies~
Max was rad and carried the tree down the whole way, all by himself! Tough kid!
The boys did awesome, as usual, Reese had a tough time and was upset, so we didn't linger, once we got her in the car she ate a little then crashed, but it was a definite success! The tree is great!
Trimming the Tree
We decorated the tree Sunday night... it was pretty much a crazy night, one thing going wrong after another... but in the end it was all good... we brought it in and got it set up, got it trimmed and then realized we only had one good string of working lights to put on it, so Brad made a quick run to Walmart and grabbed some lights.... while he was gone I decided we needed to move the tree to where the desk was so we moved the room around...
We put the lights on, started with the string we already had, we had tested them first and they had worked, we put the other lights on, long story short... the plugs didn't match up and older lights had only part of the lights working... we ended up having to go back to Walmart, buy more lights, take all the lights off and put them all back on... we then had more issues of the plugs not fitting... {another longer story}... in the mean time all sorts of other things were going wrong, the computer speakers broke, the toaster broke... it was crazy, bazaar night of one mishap after another, it made for a long night and my house was a disaster in the end... but hey we got it done and the house is almost put back together!
The boys love doing this, it was a fun-filled evening despite the mishaps... Max was cute and was putting the ornaments on and then randomly came up and gave Brad a hug, Brad told him thanks and asked him if he was happy, {he could tell he was} he smiled and said yes. It was so cute, he was just feel'n the Christmas spirit as we decorated the tree and listened to Christmas music, he felt so happy he had to hug it out!!! So cute!!! It was an awesome parent moment for Brad.
We got a train this year and needless to say... the boys, very much including Brad, are loving it!!! It is super cute and festive!
We can never remember who's turn it is to put on the star, I usually check the blog but the computer was down so we decided it was Park's turn...
Reese had gone to bed, due to the long night... so she got to put on her ornament later...
The Tree turned out super cute! The boys did a really great job putting them all on! Definitely one of life's simple pleasures! Love it all, and am looking forward to this Christmas Season!
