More Christmas Parties

After Christmas we had two more Christmas parties... Bevan and Wade... I however don't have pics from the Wade Party :(  but here's a few from the Bevan's...
we had it at my Uncle Scott's house, there's pretty much a lot of us, there were a good 15-20 people missing and I couldn't even fit the whole group in this one photo...

we had dinner, a talent show and a present exchange...

me with my Grandma and Grandpa Bevan
I wanted to get a pic of all my cousins... this one is the "older generation" and the cousins I grew up with... there's a few older generations missing but I have a lot of fun memories with these guys! Love em!!!

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day!!!

Christmas Eve 2011
We started the festivities off with a little bowling
Max
Bron
Park

haha Jesse
.... after bowling we went back to my mom & dads for Christmas Eve dinner

after dinner the kids got presents from Great Grandma & Grandpa Bevan

we had dessert, went on a hay ride around the neighborhood and sang Christmas Carols...
and later headed home to wrap up the Christmas Eve traditions and sent the kids off to bed so Santa could come....
HAnGiNg Up ThE StoCkiNgS.... Parker
Max
Bron marching up for his turn...

and Reese with a little help from Parker

...checking Santa's progress
setting out Christmas cookies, milk, and carrots for the reindeer!

We got the kids to bed then Brad and I got everything just right for Christmas morning! We wrapped a few presents, set everything out, decorated the front room with snowflakes and paper chains, then decided to exchange presents between the two of us, through out the prep time we got through White Christmas twice... and finally stumbled off to bed at 2:00am (again)
Christmas Eve is one of my favorite days of the year, especially this setting...  kids asleep, the room lit by the light of the Christmas tree with all the presents and stockings filled and in there place ready for Christmas Day! I love it so much!!
last year we started this tradition, the wrapping paper in the doorway! They love busting through it and this way there is NO peeking in on all the goodies!!!

Christmas Morning!!!
The boys and Reesey all ready to go!
 bust'n through the paper!
My parents and Jesse came over
to enjoy the morning with us!
 ::Opening Presents::
Max excited about his football gloves!

 Max loves football!!!
We got him some real football pads, (he's been wearing the makeshift ones I made him for his Halloween costume) he was pretty excited and wore them almost all day!

we got all the boys football helmets! Brad and I came up with a brilliant idea and got some stickers to put on their helmets that they can earn, just like the college guys do! Another attempt to promote good behavior!
Reese just tryen on one of the helmets!
We also got them a Kinect this year, they have been saving up their money to get one, so we helped out a little and surprised them with it!
Max asked for a # 1 BYU jersey and what do ya know, he got it!!
Bron asked for a Ninja Costume...
...Later we went to spend time with the Wade side... ate yummy food, and opened presents

the boys all played a fun little game of football outside, until it got too cold and too dark to play anymore, we had a fun time hangen with the fam!

We ended the evening back at Bevan's, and walked into this! We go to Island Park every summer and run the river this "little" raft will be of good use! So fun!!
... and of course there were some gold dollars just layen around, each family walked away with a nice little loot! Papa and Grammy spoil us every year we got hooked up with LOTS of other good presents!!!
and to top it off an air hockey table for the grand kids (and adults ;)) The grand kids are getting older now and have migrated from the "playroom" upstairs to the basement which already has a pinball machine and a Foosball table, this should keep them busy as well!!!

Christmas time is so much fun!
