~I wanna talk about me~

yay! Happy Birthday to ME!!! We went ahead an celebrated my birthday all weekend, by doing lots of FUN stuff!!! Friday we hung out with Brooke & Matt, we were supposed to go check out the gymnastics at the U but we went up there and it was ridiculously crazy busy... so we went back to their house and played games...

Shadow Puppets~! and I'll tell you what, if your in need of some good entertainment for you kids and some serious laughs try this one out! We were laughing our butts off!!! And they look hilarious when you take pictures with the flash on!!

Saturday ... Brad & I went to Ikea and I got some new dishes, I've been wanting some for forever, ... then I went and got me a pedicure and did some shopping for myself, before we got together with some of our good friends... Saturday NIGHT!!!

 we crashed my moms house ,,they are out of town so we {like totally had a party} and celebrated mine and our good friend Tommy{s} Birfdays!!!

Sunday was a great relaxing day, Brad let me sleep in, he made breakfast and took care of the kiddos all day! He hooked me up with a sweet running watch and a gift card to get new running shoes!! I'm prettty dang excited!! plus I got new work out stuff from my friend so I'm set! I'm totally stoked!!

Ice Castles

An FB friend had some pics of some ice castles in MIdway, that they had gone to, they looked so cool, and we love MIdway so we had to go and check them out, We called Brooke & Matt and headed up, I'm so glad we went...they are like nothing I've ever seen before, they are magical and beautiful!!!

Valentines Day

I LOVE Holidays,... However Valentines Day is my LEAST favorite BY FAR!!! I find it annoying and dumb, I don't need a HOLIDAY to tell my favorite people I LOVE them, I can do that all on my OWN!!! anyways.. with that said, and trying NOT to be a "debbie downer" I still make attempts to make it fun!!

We always have festive food and decorated everything!!

and cupid always leaves a little something on the porch!!!

goodbye blankie...

So the other night, my mom watched my kids, and we forgot Bron's belove-ED blankie!! {which we usually take over with us} let's just say he cried for an hour, {Thank You mother for putting up with him..} so we decided it was time to take it away .. only to be given back at night for bedtime... Bron LOVES his blankie we have slowly been trying to take it away, he used to take it everywhere, I even made a smaller version a while back that he had on him 24/7 that has been gone for a while, and he was down to having it at home and we would take it to my moms.. he no longer took it to church, or the store... but beings that he is still attached, we must take it away at home too!! SO that's what we've been doing, I put it in my room and LOCK the door, this is what he was doing one day, trying to get it back..

Attempt #1: he put the towel over him thinking he was 'hidden'... nice try bud, but I CAN SEE you!! and I KNOW what your doing... (he had something and was trying to pick the lock)

BUSTED!!!

Attempt #2: He is now trying to reach the key which  he knows is on the ledge of the door frame...

Attempt #3:  red shovel to reach the key, or knock the key off??

Attempt #4: consisted of him putting another stool on top of this stool, it was at this point that I stepped in and gave him the speech of "that is NOT safe, and what do you think will happen if you do manage to get the key???"...

... THIS NEXT picture is NOT him succeeding in his attempts... this is him today, {I did not lock my room} he found it and was hiding behind the drapes, sucking his thumb... 

ooh my Bronson, as much as I don't want you to grow up, the blankie does have to go and the thumb sucking must stop... funny, that now that the blankie is gone, he sure sucks his thumb a LOT LESS!! Hmm what do ya know... lets hope he continues to NOT suck his thumb... and Bed Time is a BREEZE!! He has been pretty good so far, he will fuss for a bit when I tell him it's time to put the blankie up, but he no longer trys to break into my room... and he does NOT cry for an HOUR,... slowly but surely he'll get it down!  Oh how I love you kiddo! 

this did NOT continue, he was immediately sent out, and the door was locked!

~~Max turns 6~~

So "let me explain.. no there is too much, .. let me sum up.. "... {name that movie}

Max came home with a coupon to The Old Spaghetti Factory and has been wanting to go ever since... it just so happen that his birthday was coming up sooo... naturally he chose to go there on his Birthday... which is where this "noodle cake" inspiration came from...

it turned out pretty awesome actually, although the jam {sauce} didn't taste all that great, so we opted for NO "sauce" for the next cake...

SUNDAY: we celebrated at my parents house, a little superbowl/birthday party...

he of course got hooked up from GRAMMY!!! {spoiled rotten}

February 7, 2005 Max Kougar Wade was born at 3:56 AM ... I can NOT believe how fast the time flys!!! Although Max is my child who I always think should be a year older than he is... I don't know what it is about this kid, but his birthday comes around and I don't think I can't believe he's 6!!! I CAN believe it,... but they do grow up fast!!!

yes, Max is wearing fake glasses... I got him a cheap pair from all a dollar and took out the glass, he likes to be "Harry Potter", and YES he wore them all day, to the store, to the restaurant... gotta love it!!!

we went back to our house for ice cream and cake & presents!!!

he got some fun stuff, and cute clothes!!! 

and from {mom & dad} he got some toys and an Ash costume... from the movie Fantastic Mr. Fox

my kids love to dress up, Max was recently dressing up like Ash, but we didn't really have anything to dress up in... so I threw a little something together, it's pretty much awesome!!!

just to give you an idea of what Ash looks likes... ha ha ha...ooh I love it!!!

we then had another {noodle cake} minus the sauce this time...

it was a pretty fun little 'themed' birthday!!!! 

Max is my most creative kid and always "thinks outside the box" He thinks things through and will figure out how stuff works, he always surprises me and will say things that I think a kid wouldn't even pay attention to, but he does pay attention and puts a lot of thought into things...he doesn't think like your average "KID'... He is a fast learner, and is smart!  {when he wants to be ;)} He is a goofball (Bron's a goofball because he learned it from this kid...) he has a lot of personality, he is always saying something funny and acting goofy, and gets really excited about stuff,  he'll get this cute {dimpled} grin and do a giddy little dance.. he has a zest for life and is full of spunk!!  He is ALL BOY and loves playing football, or wrestling...He is tough but sensitive he has several {girl} friends and is willing to do what they  want to do... and LOVES his baby sister!!! I can see him playing Tea Party or barbies with no fuss!!  He has a major sweet tooth {just like his mom} and really loves chocolate!!! (not so much sugar candy, but chocolate)... He is willing to try new things, and will go with the flow. , He is social and prefers the company of others... He's very sweet and will willingly do stuff for you, he lately has been making things for everyone, valentines, drawing pictures and writing sweet notes etc. he has a little twitch that makes Max, Max.... if you watch him he will cough, blink, scratch his head etc. every minute or so..../? I don't know?.. but it's part of him... He has a great imagination and is just a lot of FUN!!!! What would we do without or Maxi?? I look forward to every day with this kid and what new things he will teach me.
