Work in progress

So this is what we have so far, I'm loving the new change... I still need more stuff on the walls to complete the look, but it's so nice to have a new, clean, refreshing look.... so heres the bed...

instead of buying nightstands I just used an old antique box that we already had, same on the other side, I used an old antique suitcase and radio, it looks so cute...

so ya kinda fun... and Brad loves it, and is so glad we changed it all.... kinda lame to blog this but I know some of you wanted to see it.... and I felt like I hadn't blogged anythng new in a little while.

3 hours later....

So Brad and I...well mostly me, have been wanting to redo our bedroom, I finally got some extra cash to do so, so we went and bought a few things from IKEA, we put together the dresser Monday night, it took us 3 hours!! so 3 hours later, and about 500 screws, 50 nails, 20 wooden dowels, and lots of other parts... we got it done, it really was quite fun, we just watched the Olympics and had a great ol time, ya it was like 2:00 when we finished but it's done, and our room looks really cute....more picts of that coming later....

Lost tooth

Parker's first tooth he lost.

Parker has lost two teeth now, it's so crazy he's loosing teeth... pretty funny too, his first tooth, was loose and he was nervous to have Brad pull it, so we told him we would'nt do it till he was ready, so one day Brad was looking at it, and we decided he was "ready" so Brad was putting the dental floss in place and it literally fell out, no pulling neccessary, and this second one was kind of loose but Parker was playing at the park and was talking into this megaphone thing (the red thing in the picture)and he bumped his mouth on it and POPped the tooth right out and it fell right in his hand, it was so funny. So two teeth out, lots more to go!

BOWLING - check.

So we made up this list of things we want to do before the summer is over, we only have like 21 more days until School starts, so in no particular order we have started getting things crossed off our list.
Kougs cute bowling shoes Kougar bowling, he was proud he could carry the ball over to the ramp all himself... and he would smile a big ol' smile every time he knocked pins down, almost surprised that he did,( he did'nt understand the whole bumpers thing ) It was very cute.

They gave each other "five" after one of them went bowling it was so cute so I made them re-in-act it.
Bron was good at cheering every body on, he would clap every time pins got knocked down.

We had a blast, I won the first game, I'm not sure how, I am not a good bowler... and Parker won the second game and then had the highest score over all, grantide he had bumpers, but still that does'nt say much for Brad and I.... ha ha... but we had a great time. Now three more things to get done before School starts, it's comen fast.

Draper Days, 24th & Other Fun Stuff

We have been having so much fun lately, I love the summer time its just one fun thing after another, this is the kids watching outdoor movie at my moms, my dad puts up a huge movie screen out in the backyard and we go out and watch movies it is one of my most favorite summer time activities we have begun a tradition to sleep at my mom and dads the night before the Draper Parade, do outdoor movie and then camp in the back yard then go to the parade in the morning, it is so fun!
Our kids LOVE being in the parade with their dad for Canyon View Cleaners, they get to pass out candy and otter pops.
Max is too lazy to walk, he mostly is just there, enjoying the ride, and eating the candy and otter pops.
We always go to my sisters friends backyard for the firework show, its a great spot, no crowds and a nice view...

This is us and our friends and the Pioneer Day parade, we have not been to this parade in a long time, it was sooo fun, we went with our friends Tom & Andrea and their kids, we had a blast... this is Lylah, Bron, Parker, Cole,Levi, Max, & Erika, there kids are so cute and they get along great with ours... we love playing with Newmans

Brad, me, Tom, & Annie

Ha Ha this is Tom & I and a couple of strangers doing the Mnt Dew challenge... we each got a Mtn. Dew first person to chug it won a T-shirt, Tom won, I didn't even finish half but I did get a sweet bandana for participating... it was pretty dang funny!!
Our Annual 24th of July water fight, this year was funny we played all sorts of water games, which every time turns into a water fight....

This is the boys doing what we call the perilus plunge.... I should explain we went to Knotts Berry Farm one year and they have a ride called the Perilus Plunge... and you get soaked on it, not a dry spot on you after you get off, so several years ago we started this thing where you sit and let people pour buckets and buckets and buckets of cold water on you, its pretty dang funny, and like the ride there is not a dry spot on you when your done....
The boys only got 1 bucket of water, there not quite ready for the real deal... we had 14 four and five gallon buckets, we all did the 7-8 bucket Parilus Plunge except my brother in law Andy he did all 14 totalling up to I think like 60 or 70 gallons of water, all dumped on him at once... thats a lot of water....

We've been doing a lot of swimming, this Bron (in the back ground) Carter, Max, and Parker, all jumping on Grandma Maurer's tramp trying to dry off from swimming I had to take this picture cause Carter looked hilarious...

Cute Kalli's Elli, she is the cutest little girl ever...
I had to take this picture mostly for Kalli, she made Bron's Favorite blanket, He LOVES this thing has it 24/7 I always have to sneak if from him to wash it, and this is his reaction when he discovers it's in the wash.... so sad.... he cries until he gets it back....

Parker and Pa-Pa.... my dad called Saturday and said he wanted to take Parker Golfing, so he came and picked him up and they went and played 9 holes and Mulligans, he's getting so Old, dad said he did pretty good, and had a lot of fun he got a little tired around hole 6, but had a blast, lucky kid!!! We went to Lagoon last night with our friends Ben & Tricia & Tom & Andrea, we went for Ben and Andrea's birthday's it was great to go withOUT Kids and pretty funny that we had'nt been in years and now this is our second time, it was crowded we only went on like 6 or 7 rides in a 5 hour period but we love hangen with these guys so there was nothen but laughs.... it was great!!!

Gone Private

Hey everyone so I decided to go private with my blog, after blog searching some stuff I fell across some random guys blog with my blog titles on his blog it was weird and creepy and so I'm now private, I did not want to because I blog stock so ya know, anyways if you know anyone who wants to be added to my blog just give me there email and I'll add em to my list.

Lagoon

So we went to Lagoon a few days ago,with our friends Ben and Tricia and their kids, we had not been in like 6 or 7 years, it was pretty fun, the kids loved it, and ask everyday when were going back. We went on every kiddie ride. There are quit a few now, it is perfect for my kids ages Bron got a little restless, wanting to do what they were doing, but he was able to go on a couple so it kept him happy too, and besides the kids rides we did manage to go on Rattle snack rapids, and got soaked, and Brad and Ben went on Wicked, said it was pretty good, and Parker went on the Bat and on the terror ride, big steps for this kid and he loved em so... But yeah fun stuff I think we'll go again
and of course we had to get "light savers"------------

It was a good time, even with its new additions its the same ol Lagoon. Gotta love it?.
