Well we took a trip to Mt. Rushmore. .. an official welcome to summer ... we had a wonderful time! !!! Our first stop was Jackson Hole Wy. We got into town, checked in to our Hotel and explored Jackson,... museums, dinner, shopping, ice cream and carriage rides...
We stopped by the Tetons on our way to Gillette
on our way to Rapid City we stopped by Devils Tower and hiked around the base of that... very cool, very fun little stop along the way!
Then off to Mt. Rushmore!!! We explored here for a while, went to the exhibit halls, watched a short film, took lots of pics and walked away with some souvenirs!!
That night we stayed in an awesome hotel with a fun water park that the kids loved!!!
After Rapid City we headed to Casper and after Casper we headed home to Salt Lake, stopping by Independence Rock and Martins Cove on the way home...
Fun little stop along the way...
We had a blast, spending good family time together!!! We're already planning our next summer trip!! We drove 1,707 miles and saw some great sites along the way of our beautiful U.S of A!!!
