This is why I love JULY!!! And LOVE Pioneer Day!! One more excuse to get together for a fun time!! We always have a big water fight and BBQ for the 24th! This year we rented a dunk tank!!! It was a hit!!!

Bruce got up there and gave everyone in our fam, {oldest to youngest} ONE shot!! he said if we didn't get him by the time we cycled through everyone he could get down! haha luckily Matt pulled through!!

Brad was not available so I'm proud to say I bought ours and built it all by myself! And yes it flew!!

Pioneer Day Parade!!
Those who didn't have to work, got up early on the 25th, met downtown and snagged a sweet spot on the parade route!! It was a perfect parade day, perfect weather, I'm so glad we went!! I love the parade and the kids loved it too!!
Parker snapped a picture of these hilarious people who staked out on the roof of what must have been their business, they hauled up a table and chairs, complete with table cloth and all!! We were laughing at them the whole time. She was always putting on makeup and the guy filmed the whole parade!!

had to snap a pic of The Mormon Battalion Flag!! My Great~Great Grandpa, James Bevan, was a member of the Mormon Battalion! He was born in Herefordshire England in 1821 , he was 26 years old when he heard the "Mormon Missionaries" preach the Gospel, He was baptized in 1840 and came to America after that and to Utah, July 28th 1847!! Which happens to be today!!! We've got some pretty cool stories of his adventures, he was an awesome guy who I am proud to be his granddaughter!!! I love my pioneer heritage!!!

and July is almost over :( so sad!! I'm not feeling ready for school to start so we better live it up these last few weeks, cause before we know it, it'll be there first day of school!!
