ChRiStMaS FeStiViTiEs!!!!

Well we have been very busy of course, So I might as well start at the beginning... we started our Christmas festivities off by baking and making LoTs Of YumMY TrEaTs... We always make delicious CaNDy CaNe CoOkiEs.... they are fun to make and very tasty...

... I also wanted to try and do ChOcOlAte CovERed PrEtZleS this year... it was so fun and easy and they turned out so cute! ! !

Once our baking was done we HeAdEd Up tO tHe CaBiN....we went up on the 23rd and slept over...
It's always fun to go up to the cabin and spend some time... the kids had fun opening their presents...

We headed home on Christmas Eve afternoon...
... we did the usuall ChRiStMaS EvE TrAdiTiOnS... we have "tracked" Santa the last couple years, it is such a fun thing to do, this is Parker checking on where he was... We gotta keep tabs on him so we know when to get to bed...
we opened our CHrIsTmaS JamMy'S ....
hung up the StOcKiNgS...

and of course set out the CoOkIeS and HoT CoCoA...

... then Brad and I wEnT tO wOrK... we put the pReSeNtS under the tree, wRaPpEd some stuff, and spent two hours putting together the boys' new bAsKeT bAlL sTaNdArD...

... finally we were ReADy FoR SaNTa to come....
ChRiStMaS MoRnINg!!! This is the boys waiting in the hall until we told them they could come out... Bron was ready... Parker had to hold him back... ha ha ha...

MaX opening his skAteBoaRd... this is what he asked for, and Santa brought it for him, he was way excited and very cute... he just had a big grin on his face and yelled SkAtEboArd!!!

PaRkER, opening his presents from SanTA... I love this picture, this is why ChRiStMAs is so fun, he wanted INdiaAna JoNeS X-bOx gAmE, he got it and a DS game... he opened it and yelled , I got what I wanted!!!! It was totally awesome!!

The boys opening the "bAsKetBaLl StAnDaRd"... it would have been better if they could unwrap the actuall hoop and stuff I think they were a little confused, it was kinda funny...
aFteR we were done opening all our presents and playing with everything and enjoying our nice slow morning at home, we went to my parents CHrIstMaS NiGht,
When we walked in the door this is what we saw... Mom and Dad spoil us every year...

... they got us all big screen TV's... HoLy CrAP!!! we were pretty excited we've had gheto TV since we've been married we've been enjoying it to say the least, ThANks Mom anD DaD!!!
Owen and Parker in their matching jammy's... we ended having an unplanned sleep over... the kids fell asleep in Grammy and Pa Pa's bed, while watching Elf... we stayed up all night playing games of course...
ThE 26TH of DeCeMBeR... the next day we got up and decided to go SLeDdInG... it was seriously so much fun, the kids had a blast, Parker would run and jump on the sled or tube and always end with his hands in the air, like what up .. Ya!! Max enjoyed riding with someone... there was a few times we all got some good air, and we made some killer trains and rode down the hill all together...

CuTe Brony!!

.... WeLl... That pretty much sums it up, thats what we've kinda been up to... this doesn't even include the Wade Family Party we had and the moving of Kalli and Andy into their new house, and my brother-in-laws birthday Party.... we have been quite busy... today is the first day we have actually been home for more than a few minutes... so I guess I can focus on getting Christmas toys and stuff put away and Decor taken down... UnTiLL NeXt YeAR!!!!!
I couldn't leave out this picture of our friend Ben helping us set up the awesome new TV....

sub-4-santa

We did our Sub-4-Santa shopping tonight... we do a sub-4-Santa every year, and it is one of my most favorite things... we always go to Target and everyone splits up and gets a different part of the list, then we go back to my mom & dad's and separate it all into the right piles, and then wrap it up. We have done this every year since I was just a youngen... my parents taught me and now we can teach our kids, how to help those who are less fortunate. It would'nt feel like Christmas without this tradition, and this reminder of how blessed we are.

MoRE ChRiStMaS FuN!!!

For the past couple years we have been doing a progressive dinner with my family, it's a fun time to get together and visit each family's festively decorated homes, this year we did appetizer's at our house, and the main meal at Brooke's and then dessert at Kara's. It was lots of fun and there was lots of yummy food :)

Wade Family Fun

We went to Brad's parents cabin, in Midway, we had dinner and helped them get ready for Christmas, they had been working on getting all the decorations up but we were able to help decorate the tree!! Bron enjoyed the snowman that was as big as him...

lights
ornaments
star...
say cheese!! We had fun I'm glad we could go up and spend some time with them, it's always fun to go to the cabin and "get away" for a little bit.
