Graduation, bikes, and 4 for 4...

Our Max had his little pre-school party today, they have a big pool party, a magic show and then pass out certificates... Max was so dang cute about it, he was soooo excited to go, and he giggled all through out the magician... they sang a few songs that they have learned through out the year...

Max is such a stud, he did so great in school this year, he loved it! Now for a break and then we'll do it all over again next year... by the way this was all Teacher Pat's classes combined, his class is obviously not that big....
we later went to celebrate at Italian Village, one of our favorite restaurants... WAY TO GO MAX KOUGAR!!! We are so proud of you!



Bike Riding.... I don't think I shared this already so I had to... Max learned how to ride his "two wheeler" as he calls it, he's been doing it for about a month now, he picked it up so fast, Brad just did it one day, and he took off it was pretty dang awesome!!

Ok So I had to take this picture of Parker and tell this story about his OTHER front tooth, he was at school sitting on the 'carpet' and was sitting there wiggling his tooth and he just PULLED it OUT... he told his teacher he just pulled his TOOTH, so he went and rinsed his mouth out... and they put it in an envelope for him to bring home.... he was so funny cause he came to the car with TWO "I Lost a tooth" stickers on his shirt...(one for the other tooth he lost, that he shared with his class today cause he missed the last couple days of school) he was trying not to smile and was saying to his friend... don't say anything, I'll tell her... so he told me the story, I was freaking out... I promise I don't plan on blogging about every tooth he looses but I had to share this story cause I was just telling ya'll about how funny it was that we hadn't pulled a single tooth, and now THIS, I know I'm his mom so I find it the most amusing but hay... what can ya do... so now we're 4 for 4 and he has an even bigger gap in his cute little smile, oooh he is so cute!!

Hogle Zoo!!

We went to the zoo over our long weekend with some friends who came into town from Idaho. We had a super great time! This is my friend Angela and her adorable kids Tylee and Dillan (and hubby Justin taking the picture) I have been friends with Angela since I was like 8 or something, and with Justin too since I was 15... it's so fun to hang with them and their cute kiddies, when they come into town. We managed to see almost everything... we got there around 4 (they close at 6:30) but it was PERFECT!! Not too busy and the weather was so NICE here's us by the Elphants & the boys by the Cougar!!

3 down 17? to go?

Ok so hilarious story... Brad and I went out last night and had my brother Jess watch our kids, we, first of all, came home at 10:30 ish to find them all still awake... not the funny part, (I really didn't care) but we came home to find someONE with a big ol hole in his mouth... Parker lost his front tooth!!! That thing has been wiggly for quite some time, we kept bugging him everyday that we were gonna pull it out... well Brad was bugging him everyday I said we would do it when it and he are ready... but now we don't have to worry about it...
... the boys were playing flys up in the front yard and Parker and Max collided, Max's elbow hit Parkers tooth, wich made the tooth kinda tilt backwards.... so Park grabbed it to kinda "fix" it and he pulled it out... Jess said it was hilarious and they were all given high fives... sad :( I missed it...

It's funny cause, Parker's first tooth was sooo loose that when Brad went to pull it, it literally fell out into his hand, and the second one, he bonked on a thing at the park wich made it fall out and now this... Parker worries so much about the pulling of teeth and so far we have NOT pulled one yet! He looks so stinken cute with a big ol gap in his teeth!!! !!!

I DID IT!!

Ok so some of you are probably already coupon freaks but I am still learning how it all works... my friend Vanessa is way into it and sent me an email with detailed directions on what to do... so I DID IT... I got all this for $3.08 WOO HOO!!! I have always said I don't have time to go thru the ads and figure this all out, wich is the excuse I HATE the most, cause you make time for what you really want to do... well with a little help I can see why I should make more time for this, I can save so much money... I saved $20.80 now that is cool!!! I just had to post my first REAL coupon savings deal... (Meggie, I'm sure your rolling your eyes at how lame I am... I know your a coupon Queen too)

May Showers bring June flowers

We had Sara's Bridal Shower at my house on Saturday.... she is getting married in June...we had a great turn out, it went rather well, and she got lots of great stuff!!!

Get OVER it!!

There was many a morning growing up that I woke up to the sounds of THE EAGLES blaring thru the house... a little LIFE IN THE FAST LANE, or GET OVER IT... up full blast on a Saturday morning and afternoon as we would be eating breakfast or cleaning out the garage.... ooooh the memories... we grew up with lots of music in our house a little Neil Diamond, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beach Boys, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, James Taylor... I could go and on & on, and of course THE EAGLES... we are truly spoiled my dad got us all tickets to go see them perform this last Saturday night, and we had a blast!!! My dad also bought us all tickets to see Simon & Garfunkel when they came a few years back... it is so fun to see the bands, that we grew up listening to ...


They put on a GREAT show, they sound FANTASTIC, for being 60 year old men... they still know how to rock that's for sure, the sound was soooo good and the lights and background stuff was pretty sweet too!!!
... THANKS to Dad and Mom for doing this, it was awesome, History in the making... they will not be performing for too much longer, there to stinken old... and Salt Lake was there last stop in the U.S. so who knows if the chance will come again... And it was the first concert at the Real Stadium ... pretty cool, anyways, we had a great time, thanks again for spoiling us, once again, it was some good times!!!!!!!

p.s. they never did play Get Over it... dang it, (title of post) we kept waiting for it... oh well they did play all the classics, it was great!



Mother's Day Brunch....


We got together for a Mother's Day Brunch with the whole Bevan Clan on Saturday morning... we had delicious omlet's and fruit.... followed by the putting together of mom's mother's day present... the kids played in the yard, and we sat in the sun, it was such a NICE easy going Saturday morning/afternoon...


... . and cute Max putting together a new kids patio table, he was a great little helper and put the whole thing together it was so cute :)

...last field trip

Well the year is coming to an end... Max had his last field trip of the year today... we went to Red Butte Gardens, we walked around and then had a little picnic... it's very pretty there, lots of fun, beautiful flowers ...classic Max face, he is so funny...
they have a cute little children's area with an Indian "village" and a little pond...

... there is cute little trees, big lizzards, a sandbox, a tunnel, some water fountains and some other cute things...


Max, going down the fire pole... crazy the year is almost over, it's been a fun year, Max's pre-school teacher is so cute we just love her and are looking forward to next year :)
